What I Do
People bring me on board to conduct contextual research for a project and help the team evaluate whether or not it is feasible, competitive, and sustainable.
Most of my work has been in locations experiencing depletion of resources and/or chronic disinvestment. Areas considered risky investments in Florida, Michigan, Washington D.C., Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. Each project is unique — from small scale adaptive reuse of historic buildings, to larger heritage/tourism area plans, to nonprofit organizational transitions.
